VIDEOGRAPHY
FROM MYTH TO MECHANISM
Behind the mythology lies fabrication. The Spirit Steel prototype was modeled and engineered as a fully serviceable, modular object - designed not just to exist in a world, but to function within one. Whether real-world or imagined, every intricate object begins with a maker. Even a mythical weapon requires a fabricator - a Core-Smith in concept, a builder in reality. The isometric and exploded axon views below reveal the individual components that transform Spirit Steel from idea to engineered artifact.

MODEL TO MATERIAL
The Spirit Steel prototype was digitally modeled component by component, translating concept geometry into production-ready forms. The video below documents the modeling process, followed by slicing previews of the primary structural elements - base, handle, and blade - prepared for additive manufacturing. The final sequence presents the assembled prototype before and after finishing, bridging digital construction with physical execution.

CONTROLLED ILLUMINATION
A USB COB-style LED tape is housed within the custom Core LED Holder. The wiring is routed internally through the handle cavity and secured with integrated strain relief, allowing power delivery without compromising the external silhouette. The blade receives its own dedicated LED channel, seated within the Blade LED Holder and aligned for consistent edge illumination

FROM RENDER TO RESIN
Every core begins as geometry - modeled, balanced, and tested in a digital environment. Render explorations examine color pairing, translucency, and internal illumination. The final resin prints bring the concept into the physical world.
