FRAMING THE PAST
Fourteen salvaged windows - once part of the historic Belleview-Biltmore Hotel - were reclaimed from Schiller’s Architectural Salvage in Tampa and chosen for the Garden Studio. Before construction began, each window was digitally modeled and integrated into the architectural plan. The design evolved around the historic material, allowing the studio to carry forward both memory and craftsmanship in a new context.

NATURAL LIGHTING
It has a clear roof like the famous glass roofed studio of Georges Melies that was built in 1896 in Montreuil, France.

Look at how the interior is glowing. No space or time is spent on lighting setups.

And with the exception of the back wall and the floor, the rest of the building is made up of windows. This building is mostly made of transparent materials.
